boAt elevates Gaurav Nayyar as CEO, co-founders transition to strategic roles

Nayyar, who has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at boAt for the past three years, brings over two decades of strategic and operational expertise. Before joining boAt, he spent eight years at Bain & Company, where he rose to the position of Partner. 

As part of this transition, Sameer Mehta will assume the role of Executive Director, focusing on long-term strategic priorities while supporting Nayyar in his leadership. Aman Gupta will continue his association with boAt as a Non-Executive Director, ensuring continuity of the brand’s vision and marketing ethos. This move reflects boAt’s ongoing journey of professionalisation and best-in-class governance, as it looks to capitalise on India’s multi-decadal consumer technology growth opportunity. 

Commenting on his elevation, Nayyar said, “Having worked closely with Sameer and Aman, I know first-hand the extraordinary foundation they have built. Sameer has done an exceptional job strengthening our core and building product adjacencies, while Aman has been instrumental in shaping our marketing and brand ethos.
