Bondada Group appoints Rear Admiral R. Sreenivas, VSM (Retd) as CEO

As Group CEO, Rear Admiral Sreenivas will lead Bondada Group’s strategic direction, oversee operations, and champion its innovation roadmap, expanding the Group’s domestic footprint while scaling its global presence in infrastructure development. Rear Admiral Sreenivas brings with him over 35 years of distinguished leadership experience from the Indian Navy and the corporate sector. 

A highly decorated naval veteran and recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal, he has a proven track record in operations, administration, large-scale project management, capital acquisitions, and driving initiatives in self-reliance. Having spent over 50% of his naval service onboard various ships and ship repair yards in his naval career, he had the rare distinction of leading refit/ modernisation programmes of over half of the Navy’s ships and submarines in a senior leadership role. 

Following his superannuation in 2022, Rear Admiral Sreenivas served in leading advisory roles with the Ministry of Defence, Hindustan Shipyard Ltd., and Larsen & Toubro’s Precision Engineering Systems Division, contributing his expertise in strategic planning, corporate growth, and product development. “We are proud to welcome Rear Admiral Sreenivas to the Bondada family,” said Dr. Bondada Raghavendra Rao, Chairman & Managing Director, Bondada Group. “His legacy of disciplined leadership, transformative project execution, and deep sectoral expertise aligns seamlessly with our ambition to become a global leader in sustainable infrastructure.
