Boston Scientific appoints Madan Krishnan to lead India Subcontinent

Madan Krishnan has succeeded Manoj Madhavan, who is relocating to the US to assume a global role within the company.
Boston Scientific appoints Madan Krishnan to lead India Subcontinent

Boston Scientific has appointed Madan Krishnan as vice president and managing director, India Subcontinent and Commercial Operations / Excellence APAC, effective February 1. Madan has joined the company with more than two decades of leadership experience in emerging and developed health care systems. 

He takes over leadership of the India Subcontinent for Boston Scientific from Manoj Madhavan, who is relocating to the US to assume a global role within the company.

In this role, Madan will be responsible for the commercial business across India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, as well as commercial operations and excellence across Asia Pacific.

He has joined Boston Scientific from Medtronic, where he led the India business. Previously, he worked with AstraZeneca where he held leadership roles based in Turkey, South Korea, and Singapore. 

“Madan brings a rich experience of the health care sector to our business in India, where we have established a strong footprint and built a team that is dedicated to improving the health of patients in India as well as around the world,” said Stephen Morse, senior vice president and president, Asia Pacific, Boston Scientific. 

Commenting on his appointment, Madan Krishnan said, “I look forward to leading and developing the local team and collaborating with colleagues around the world as we continue to transform lives through innovative medical solutions,” said Madan.
