Pharma major Cipla appointed Abhay Srivastava as Head HR-TechOps. He will lead Cipla’s entire manufacturing and quality unit as HR. 

In a press statement, Prabir Jha, global chief people officer of Cipla said that Abhay Srivastva has many years of experience across sectors as HR and in IR leadership in civil services (Ministry of Defence), pharma industry, manufacturing and R&D space. He also explained to the press that in order to reinvent their 80-year old company the focus is building leadership talent to bring organisational transformation in a positive way. 

Last week, Cipla made significant addition to its talent pool by appointing Ashwani Dahiya as head of HR. 

Prior to this, Srivastava was working with Piramal, as the senior VP and global head HR. He holds an MBA from SIBM, Pune. He was also associated with Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, as the senior director - human resources and was part of the civil services (Ministry of Defence).
