Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. has appointed D. Prasanth Nair as the company’s new Chief Human Resources Officer effective May 8. 

An accomplished HR veteran with over 20 years of experience, Prasanth will be responsible for strengthening the company’s employee experience, leading talent management as well as supporting the diversity & inclusion initiative to build Crompton as an overall great place to work.

Prasanth brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise having worked extensively across several HR functions for organisations, focused on talent development, change management, coaching & counselling as well as embedding technology in HR.  

Backed by a diverse set of experiences, he has worked with some leading Indian and multinational companies, having started his journey with RPG Group followed by heading the HR function for Thomas Cook and Cipla. Post this, he was a part of the team that scaled up ZingHR.

He holds a Doctorate in HR from IIM Ahmedabad as well as a Bachelor’s in Technology (BTech) from Calicut University.
