Duroflex Group appoints Arkadeb Chakraborty as Chief Human Resources Officer

With more than 16 years of experience in both business and HR leadership roles, Chakraborty brings with him a wealth of expertise in building scalable people systems, leading complex transformations, and collaborating with leadership teams to foster sustainable growth.
Duroflex Group, a sleep solutions brand, has announced the appointment of Arkadeb Chakraborty as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The move comes as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its leadership and driving its people strategy and organisational transformation.
With more than 16 years of experience in both business and HR leadership roles, Chakraborty brings with him a wealth of expertise in building scalable people systems, leading complex transformations, and collaborating with leadership teams to foster sustainable growth.
His appointment reflects Duroflex Group’s aim to bring top industry talent on board as the company embarks on its next phase of growth. In his new capacity, Chakraborty will be responsible for steering the people strategy, with a focus on talent excellence, governance, and the enhancement of the organisation’s future-ready capabilities, the company said in a press statement.
Chakraborty’s career is distinguished by a unique blend of deep HR functional knowledge and proven business execution. He has worked with prominent organisations such as Escorts Group, ICICI Bank, Ruchi Soya, Godrej Group, and Darwinbox. Notably, during his most recent tenure at Darwinbox, Chakraborty transitioned into a core business role as Director of Customer Success, where he managed a P&L exceeding $6 million and led HR technology transformation for more than 130 organisations.
Previously, as CHRO at Capital Foods, he partnered closely with leadership and investors to guide the company through critical M&A integrations and business continuity periods. His significant stint at Godrej Group further showcased his versatility, including roles in HR digitisation, sales partnership, and manufacturing HR and industrial relations across multiple business units.
