Emids appoints Sean Narayanan as CEO

Emids, provider of digital transformation solutions across the healthcare and life science ecosystem, has named Sean Narayanan as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Current CEO Saurabh Sinha, who founded the company in 1999, will transition to the role of chairman.

Narayanan has joined Emids from digital services firm Apexon, where he led the company through a period of transformational growth for around two years.

Before Apexon, Narayanan served the business and platform solutions division of Atos as senior executive vice president and CEO. Liquidhub, iGate (now Capgemini) and Cognizant are other organisations where Narayanan previously held executive roles.

“We are at a pivotal moment in healthcare and life sciences where organisations are leaning into the shift to value-based care and increasing digital engagement with patients and members,” said Narayanan.

“Having known Sean since we were colleagues at Cognizant, I have the utmost confidence that his deep experience scaling digital services businesses through periods of rapid growth will be invaluable to Emids as well as to its customers,” said Prasad Chintamaneni, Managing Director with New Mountain Capital.
