Microsoft India has appointed Madhav Vamsi as the company Head University Recruitment India. Madhav was earlier working with Flipkart as Campus Head since 2014. 

Madhav confirmed his move to Microsoft to People Matters. 

Madhav did his Doctorate in management studies from NIPM. Prior joining Flipkart, he worked with TCS-CMC as the Country Head-Talent Acquisitions and Head-Campus recruitments. According to his LinkedIn profile, he started his career with Mensa Soft and then moved to AMI Technologies as the DGM-HR & Training.

At Flipkart, he was responsible for managing all entry level and campus recruiting programs across geographies, Talent Branding & Social Engagement, Talent Analytics, Driving the full life cycle of recruiting campus hires, from strategic planning to process execution to wrap-up, Manage/track candidate pipeline and report recruiting metrics to key stakeholders.

He used to oversee the development of all recruiting marketing materials including job descriptions, corporate presentations, resume screening materials, interview guides etc. Also oversee the employee value proposition, marketing and advertising strategy globally. Lead School Teams in executing the firm's recruiting strategy. Travel to campuses to lead presentations, participate in networking events, and conduct coffee chats among other responsibilities.
