Excelra appoints Pramod C as Head of Human Resources

With his wealth of strategic HR leadership experience, Pramod will lead the people function at Excelra to enable organisation-wide growth aligned with the company’s mission.

Excelra, a leading biopharma data and analytics firm, has appointed Pramod C as Head of Human Resources, effective immediately. 

Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Pramod posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Human Resources at Excelra!” 

In his new role, Pramod brings over 25 years of HR and strategic leadership experience across the technology, healthcare, and IT sectors. He will lead the people function at Excelra to enable organisation-wide growth aligned with the company’s mission. He will support the company’s platforms, including GOSTAR and GOBIOM, while working closely with leaders in technology, science, and operations to scale its global footprint and foster a high-trust, high-performance culture.

Before this appointment, Pramod worked with Mindsprint as Vice President of Human Resources. Stepping down from the role, he shared, “As I turn a new page in my professional journey, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Mindsprint… it has been truly impactful and fulfilling, marked by rich learning, collaboration, and the opportunity to contribute to several transformational programs. 

From restructuring the organization, redefining the hybrid return-to-office model, to building and moving into our new facilities in Chennai and Bangalore, it’s been inspiring to see what can be achieved when purpose, passion, and partnership come together.” 

Previously, he served at emids, UnitedHealth Group, and Wipro Technologies in key HR roles, overseeing strategic HR, hiring, HR transformation, and the entire employee lifecycle. 

On the academic front, Pramod holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Bangalore University, a program in HR Development from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, and has completed an Executive Leadership and Future CHRO Program from the Indian School of Business.
