FirstClub appoints Flipkart Group HR Sonika Pranay as Head of People and Culture

At FirstClub, Pranay will lead the People & Culture function, focusing on talent and leadership development, high-performing teams and organisational culture as the company expands.
FirstClub Technology has appointed Sonika Pranay as Head of People & Culture as the quality-first grocery platform strengthens its leadership team and prepares for its next phase of growth.
Pranay brings more than 15 years of experience across the Flipkart Group and cure.fit, with expertise spanning talent management, HR business partnering, rewards, organisational design and people-focused cultures.
Building teams for scale
At FirstClub, Pranay will lead the People & Culture function, focusing on talent and leadership development, high-performing teams and organisational culture as the company expands.

Pranay said her focus would be on strengthening teams and developing leaders as the company grows.

Deep consumer and tech HR experience
Before joining FirstClub, Pranay was Director, HR at SuperMoney, part of the Flipkart Group. She previously served as HR Head at Cleartrip and Deputy Director, People & Culture at Myntra, both within the Flipkart Group.
Earlier, she was Strategic HR Lead at cure.fit, now cult.fit.
Across these roles, Pranay has worked across talent management, rewards, HR business partnering and organisational design, supporting high-growth consumer and technology businesses.
Strengthening FirstClub's people agenda
Pranay holds an MBA in Human Resources from NMIMS. Her appointment comes as FirstClub looks to strengthen its people and culture capabilities alongside its business expansion.
The company said her mandate will centre on building a strong people foundation, developing leadership capabilities and fostering a culture that can support its next stage of growth.
