Murali Swaminathan has joined Freshworks as Chief Technology Officer from ServiceNow.

Freshworks Inc. has announced the appointment of Murali Swaminathan as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As CTO, Murali will be responsible for Freshworks’ technology roadmap and strategy, leading the company’s global engineering and architecture teams.

With over 30 years of experience in software engineering and management, Murali brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure products. Murali joins Freshworks from ServiceNow, where he served as Vice President of Engineering, overseeing the company’s market leading IT Service Management and Strategic Portfolio Management portfolio of products that scale to work for large enterprises.

Before ServiceNow, Murali served as Vice President of Engineering at Recommind (now OpenText). He also held several key positions at CA Technologies (now part of Broadcom Inc.).
