Genesys International appoints Dhiman Basu Ray as Chief Technology Officer

Basu Ray brings around 26 years of experience across AI and machine learning, robotics, digital engineering, cloud and data platforms, cybersecurity and digital transformation.
Genesys International Corporation has appointed Dhiman Basu Ray as Chief Technology Officer as the geospatial technology company expands its focus from high-precision mapping and Digital Twins to Spatial Intelligence.
Basu Ray brings around 26 years of experience across AI and machine learning, robotics, digital engineering, cloud and data platforms, cybersecurity and digital transformation.
He previously served as Global Chief Technology Officer, Digital Engineering at Tech Mahindra.
Commenting on the appointment, Sajid Malik, Chairman and Managing Director, Genesys International, said, “Genesys is moving from mapping the world to making the physical world computable.

Focus on Physical AI
Genesys is building an AI-native technology architecture to bring together its capabilities in surveying, high-definition mapping, 3D geospatial content and Digital Twins.
Basu Ray said, “Genesys has built a differentiated foundation through its high-precision geospatial content, advanced survey capabilities and 3D Digital Twins. The opportunity now is to bring together AI, digital engineering and platform thinking to transform these capabilities into a scalable Spatial Intelligence layer.
