Godrej Capital appoints Bhavya Misra as new Chief Human Resources Officer
Godrej Capital, a financial services company, has announced the appointment of Bhavya Misra as the Chief Human Resources Officer, with immediate effect.
In her new role, Bhavya brings over 15 years of experience across the finance, commercial, IT, electronics, and telecommunications sectors. She will lead the company’s HR team, designing HR strategies and culture initiatives for its people and work.
Prior to her appointment, Bhavya served at the global consumer electronics manufacturer Lenovo as the Director and Head of HR in India. In previous roles, she worked with PepsiCo as the HR Director for Finance, Commercial, and IT across the Africa, Middle East, and South Asia regions, and at Bharti Retail as the HR Manager for Talent Management.
On the academic front, Bhavya holds a BSc degree in Physics from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi, and an MBA degree in HR from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. She also completed an exchange program in HR at the IAE Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management. Her core competencies include talent acquisition, HR management, HR transformation, performance management, HR policies, DEI, employee engagement, strategic HR, learning and development, and leadership.
