Haleon appoints Kedar Lele as President, India Subcontinent

Lele succeeds Navneet Saluja, ISC General Manager, who announced retirement back in October 2025.
Haleon has announced the appointment of Kedar Lele as President, India Subcontinent, effective January 2026.
In his new role, Lele will also join the Haleon Executive Team (HET), the company’s global leadership body, strengthening alignment with its ‘Win as One’ strategy.
Lele succeeds Navneet Saluja, ISC General Manager, who announced retirement back in October 2025.
In his new capacity as ISC President, Lele will spearhead India’s role in driving Haleon’s ambition to reach 1 billion more consumers by 2030, supporting its purpose of delivering better everyday health with humanity.
He brings over 25 years of leadership experience across FMCG, advertising, digital innovation, and automotive sectors, He recently worked with Castrol India, where he served as Managing Director.
Prior to this, he spent two decades at Hindustan Unilever (HUL), holding several key leadership roles including Executive Director for Sales and Customer Development in South Asia and Chairman & Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh.
Lele holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing and Operations from the Indian School of Business (ISB) and a postgraduate diploma in Marketing Communications from MICA. He currently serves on the board of TVS Automobile Solutions and previously served as Vice President at the Foreign Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Bangladesh.
In a parallel development, Haleon announced an evolution of its operating model under the ‘Win as One’ strategy, including the creation of a Chief Growth Officer role and six new Operating Units.
The India Subcontinent, to be headed by Lele, will become an independent Operating Unit, reflecting its strategic importance.
Haleon has also introduced a Chief Transformation Officer role to drive organisational efficiency. The restructuring is expected to be completed by mid-2026, with further details to be shared in February 2026.
