After unveiling its new brand identity, HCLTech has reshuffled its top leadership positions as part of its repositioning and rebranding program. India’s third largest IT company named new heads for human resources (HR) and corporate functions.

HCLTech veteran Ramachandran Sundararajan, who joined the company in 2006 has been named the new chief people officer. His predecessor VV Apparao will now take over as the chief delivery officer for nearshore.

A mechanical engineering graduate from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Sundararajan served HCL America Inc as executive vice president-HR from April 2018. He joined the company as HR director (EMEA).

Rahul Singh has been appointed as the chief operating officer (COO) – for corporate functions. Singh has worked with HCL’s global financial services business for a decade. In his new role, Singh will be responsible for people, IT, marketing, risk and compliance, and administration functions at the company.

HCLTech is a global technology company, that employs more than 219,000 people across 54 countries, reported consolidated revenues as of 12 months ending September 2022 totalled $12.1 billion.
