The digital solutions company hires the former Army officer and HR veteran, who spent years at TCS, to lead its people strategy and embed a culture defined by discipline and strong collaboration.

Incture has appointed Major Prashant Palai as Head – People & Culture as the digital engineering company gears up for its next phase of growth. He will lead talent strategy, culture-building efforts, and employee experience initiatives across the organisation.

Major Palai moves to Incture from Tata Consultancy Services, where he served as HR Head for one of its business units. With close to three decades of experience across the Indian Army and the technology industry, he brings a mix of operational discipline, people-centric leadership, and large-scale HR execution.

Announcing his new role, Major Palai said he is joining the company at a “meaningful stage in its journey” as businesses accelerate their digital roadmap. “Incture has a strong foundation and a clear mission. I look forward to building on its culture of ownership and collaboration while strengthening practices that support growth, agility, and employee well-being,” he said.

Before he moved into the corporate sector, Major Palai served for 12 years in the Indian Army, right after graduating from the National Defence Academy. The time he spent in the military, paired with his later leadership jobs in HR, has given him a management style built on clarity, a strong sense of responsibility, and knowing how to really develop a team.

Sachin Verma, Founder & CEO, said the appointment comes at a time when Incture is expanding its customer footprint and delivery capabilities. “As we scale, we need leaders who understand both people and business. Major Prashant brings that balance and a grounded leadership style,” he noted.

Incture continues to build talent in areas such as digital engineering, SAP solutions, and AI-led automation as clients increase investment in enterprise modernisation.
