JK Lakshmi Cement appoints Anil Verma as head-HR
Anil Verma has joined JK Lakshmi with close to three decades of industry experience.
JK Lakshmi Cement, a flagship company of JK Organization has appointed a new head HR for their site in Rajasthan. According to the latest update, the cement manufacturer has appointed Anil Verma as the new head of HR, effective June. He is based in Sirohi, Rajasthan.
Verma brings with him nearly three decades of HR experience across industries and geographies. Before this, he served as Cluster HR Head at Ambuja Cement for over three years.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Verma wrote, "I’m happy to share that I have started a new position as Head – HR at JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd!"
He is known for his expertise in training, performance management, employee relations, HR policies, talent acquisition, greenfield projects, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement.
JK Lakshmi Cement, part of a diversified group with operations in cement, tyres, power transmission, paper, textiles, and more, has an annual turnover exceeding Rs6,000 crore.
The appointment comes at a time when the cement industry is expected to benefit from the Indian government's increased focus on infrastructure, including higher budget allocations for housing, roads, and other public development projects.
With interest rates softening, the outlook for the sector remains optimistic—making strong HR leadership critical for driving growth and organizational readiness.
