Lenovo names Ashok Nair as Director for India Service Operations

Lenovo India has named Ashok Nair as the Director for India Service Operations.  

Rahul Agarwal, CEO & MD, Lenovo India stated, “I am delighted to welcome Ashok in this new role at Lenovo. Service is already a differentiator for Lenovo and I am confident that with Ashok spearheading this function, we can further build on our strength and set a new benchmark for the industry. I wish him well in his future endeavors”. 

Ashok, an alumnus from XLRI, Jamshedpur, comes with over two decades of experience in increasing brand presence for consumer-focused businesses in India and South Asia, across IT businesses like Intel as well as new-age businesses in ed-tech. His previous stint was as an entrepreneur where he was the co-founder at Math Adventures, an ed-tech focused startup. He joins Lenovo after a successful exit. 

In his previous role at Lenovo, he started as Director of Sales for South India and Sri Lanka, setting up and closed his stint as the Director of HSB, delivering P&L objectives and growing volumes of sales across all business units.

On his appointment, Ashok Nair stated, “I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead the service operations for Lenovo India. India remains a high growth opportunity for Lenovo with an increasing focus on digitization of the economy. We see a lot of headroom for expansion in the country given the strong technology and product innovation that Lenovo brings in and I look forward to an exciting journey ahead.”

Ashok’s appointment is significant as service is a strategic focus area for Lenovo and with this appointment, Lenovo will aim to become a truly customer-centric brand, while driving growth.
