Livspace, the interiors and renovation company, has appointed Abhishek Gupta as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
In his new role, Gupta will oversee the company’s financial strategy, planning, transformation initiatives and corporate governance, and support its broader strategic priorities.
Gupta brings over two decades of experience across consumer, retail and digital businesses. He joins Livspace from Myntra, where he served as CFO and was responsible for finance, risk management, planning, real estate and workplace functions.
Prior to this, he held senior leadership roles at organisations including Flipkart, Unilever, Abbott and ITC, with responsibilities spanning business finance, audit and controls, supply chain finance and large-scale transformation programmes.
Commenting on the appointment, Ramakant Sharma, founder and CEO of Livspace, said, “As Livspace scales and builds the business further, financial rigour and clarity become critical enablers of growth.
We are excited to have Abhishek join us as he brings deep experience in building and leading finance organisations across large consumer and digital businesses. His understanding of how to balance growth with discipline, and his experience across retail, e-commerce and supply chain-led models, will help strengthen our controls and sharpen decision-making as we enter the next phase of our journey.”
Gupta added, “Livspace is solving for a complex category at scale, where strong financial foundations are critical to long-term success. My focus will be on building clarity, discipline and resilience across the finance function to support the company’s growth ambitions.
In a business that combines design, supply chains and on-ground execution, finance plays an important part in going beyond just reporting outcomes and enabling better decisions. I look forward to this opportunity to build systems that bring predictability to a dynamic environment and help the business scale with confidence.”
A Chartered Accountant, Gupta holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Xavier’s College, University of Calcutta. He has received multiple industry recognitions over the years for his contributions to finance and business leadership. In 2024–25, he was named ‘CFO of the Year’ in the digital and e-commerce category by industry bodies including CII and ASSOCHAM. He is also a member of the national CFO councils at FICCI and ASSOCHAM.
