L&T Precision Engineering and Systems has named Santosh Rai as the Head of Human Resources. Before being named as head of HR, Rai worked with L&T Defence as joint General Manager, L&T Defence IC.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Human Resources at Larsen & Toubro Precision Engineering and Systems IC,” Rai posted on LinkedIn.

He has 24 years of Work experience in the field of human resources & industrial relations in manufacturing & utilities.  Rai also has hands-on experience in setting up green field facilities.

Rai began his association with L&T as plant head -HR in 2010. He was responsible for talent acquisition for the green field plant, set up the HR system, and established a robust system of contract manpower engagement.

Before joining L&T, he worked at BSES Rajdhani Power, Goodyear India, and Samtel Color. Rai is an alumnus of Savitribai Phule Pune University and he  holds a Master’s in Personnel Management.
