ManpowerGroup names Sandeep Gulati as Managing Director for India

ManpowerGroup has announced the appointment of Sandeep Gulati as Managing Director of India Operations, effective September 23, 2019. Sandeep will lead the India business in the capacity of the Managing Director replacing A.G. Rao. 

Francois Lancon, President Asia Pacific & Middle East Region stated, “We are thrilled to have Sandeep on board to lead ManpowerGroup business in India. He brings with him incredibly strong knowledge and rich experience of over 26 years in various domains. His expertise will be vital for our very ambitious India growth strategy.”

Sandeep is a multi-faceted leader who is passionate about building winning teams in a global environment. He has joined ManpowerGroup from Aegis (Startek), a global business service provider, where he held various positions relating to sales and operations. His last role was Chief Operating Officer responsible for Asia Pacific, South Africa and Middle East market. In his 26 years of professional life, Sandeep held multi-functional roles across global company.

On his appointment, Sandeep stated,“I am delighted to have been given an opportunity to lead the India business of ManpowerGroup and be a part of a truly purpose-driven Organization. I look forward to engaging with all our internal and external stakeholders to further build a long and sustainable business in India. I am excited to be on board and be a part of a great team.”

In the 26 years of professional life, Sandeep held multi-functional roles across global companies such as GE, Vodafone and led the launch of Dell’s key contact centre operations in India. His diverse expertise is something the leading global workforce solutions company is looking to bank upon as it continues its journey to help organizations transform in a fast-changing world of work by sourcing, assessing, developing and managing the talent that enables them to win.
