Myntra appoints Kannan Ganesan as Chief Financial Officer

A seasoned finance leader, Ganesan brings over two decades of experience across the consumer goods and e-commerce sectors. Known for his strategic mindset and strong sense of ownership, he has a proven track record of navigating complex, fast-paced business environments and driving sustainable growth. 

Ganesan joined the Flipkart Group in 2020 from Unilever and most recently served as Vice President – Business Finance. In this role, he led finance partnerships across multiple high-impact businesses, including eKart, Mobiles, Large and Electronics (MLE), Travel, and most recently across all business units within Category and the Marketing & Monetisation organisations. 

His extensive experience spanning finance, operations, and business transformation is expected to play a key role in supporting Myntra’s next phase of growth. The appointment underscores Flipkart Group’s continued focus on nurturing internal talent and creating diverse leadership opportunities across its ecosystem. 

Meanwhile, Abhishek Gupta, Myntra’s current CFO, has decided to pursue external opportunities after a seven-year tenure with the Flipkart Group, including nearly four years at Myntra. 

 During his time with the organisation, Gupta worked closely with cross-functional teams and played a pivotal role in strengthening Myntra’s financial and strategic foundations.
