Opendoor, an e-commerce platform for residential real estate transactions, has welcomed Venkata Machavarapu as the new India country head.

Venkata brings more than two decades of experience in building engineering and operation centers in India, most recently with Salesforce and Indeed.com. Under his leadership, he is expected to build Openddoor’s brand in India, attract best-in-class talent, and build the core foundational capabilities that the company needs to remain successful and grow. 

In his role as country head, Venkata will be responsible for expanding technology, product development, and operations centers in India. 

Opendoor is expanding its team in India. Currently, Opendoor’s team is based in the US and Canada to provide much-needed bandwidth and work together collectively.
