Oyo Hotels & Homes has appointed Harshit Vyas as the Chief Business Officer, India. Having worked closely with Ritesh Agarwal since Oyo’s inception, Vyas is an early veteran of the company. 

His previous appointment as the Head of West Region where he led a team of more than 2000 employees. Vyas joined Oyo in 2012 as one among its first five core employees and focused on the business development for the company’s first city launch in Gurgaon. He has also led the company into international markets and undertaken strategic tasks such as setting up a team of local nationals, experimenting with new business models, and building relationships with partners in Malaysia. 

“Starting my career with Oyo, it has had a great impact on my professional journey and shaped my leadership skills,” said Vyas. “Over the past years, I have seen the organization grow exponentially and am really proud to have been one of the early members of the team that laid the groundwork.” 

Vyas will be reporting to Aditya Ghosh, CEO, Oyo Hotels & Homes, India & South ASia, and will be taking the ownership of driving execution of metrics across the board, from supply and demand to operations. Other field teams will be directly reporting to Vyas who will work with them to build their capabilities across various functions.
