Bangalore-based employee benefits and insurtech platform for employers Pazcare has appointed Sandeep Setty as its next Vice-President of human resources, effective August 2022.

In his fresh innings at Pazcare, Setty will be responsible for hiring and shaping the organisational culture. Pazcare has also confirmed to increase its headcount from around 150. As per the latest update, the company will strengthen its workforce by adding around 50 employees across different verticals in this financial year.

Prior to joining Pazcare, Setty has worked with organisations like Cashfree, Cleartax, Medlife, and Livspace. He has more than a decade of experience in the HR domain. In his recent association with Cashfree, he worked as an Associate Director - Talent Acquisition. He is an Engineering graduate in Electronics and Communication (E&C).

According to  Sanchit Malik, CEO and co-founder Pazcare, Sandeep has been a phenomenal HR leader and he believes that his experience and expertise will enable the company to build one of the best employee-friendly organisations in India.

Founded by Sanchit Malik, former co-founder of Townscript, and Manish Mishra, ex-director of engineering at Mindtickle and Cleartax in 2020, Pazcare recently raised $8.2 million led by Jafco Asia, bringing its valuation to $48 million.

Pazcare currently offers group health, term life, personal accident insurance and keyman insurance, Covid insurance and health and wellness. It monetizes from service providers through commissions.
