Bangalore-based B2B fintech company Perfios has announced leadership appointments ahead of its IPO listing over the next 18-24 months and global expansion. The fintech company has welcomed Anu Mathew as its chief people officer (CPO) and Sumit Nigam as its chief technology officer (CTO).

Anu comes with a career journey of more than 20 years, scaling startups and working in global organisations, having lived in India and England and built global teams.

Before joining Perfios, Anu had a career break since May 2023. Previously, she worked at Pine Labs, Qwikcilver, HCL and GE. She assumed the role of CPO in July.

Nigam, equipped with over 20 years of experience has joined Perfios from BigBasket where he woked as VP and head of Engineering. Walmart Global Tech, Informatica, and Dell EMC are other organisations where he worked previously. Nigam has succeeded Debashish Chakraborty, who is also co-founder of Perfios. Chakraborty will transition to a more strategic role within the organisation. 

As CTO, Nigam has been tasked to shape the company's technology roadmap and work closely with the CEO.
