Quick Heal Technologies Ltd, a global cyber security software organisation, has announced the appointment of Vishal Salvi as their new Chief Executive Officer, with immediate effect. 

Salvi possesses over 29 years of experience in driving excellence in the cybersecurity and information technology domains in India and globally.

Before joining Quick Heal Technologies, Vishal Salvi held key positions at Infosys, including Global Chief Information Security Officer, Business Head of the Cybersecurity Service Line, and Senior Vice President, playing a pivotal role in shaping the information and cybersecurity strategy across the Group. Moreover, his extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT stems from leadership roles at reputable organizations such as PwC, HDFC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Global Trust Bank, Development Credit Bank, and Crompton Greaves.

Dr Kailash Katkar will continue to serve Quick Heal Technologies in his current role as Chairman and Managing Director. Katkar has provided exceptional leadership in the remarkable growth and success of the company. Under his visionary guidance, the organisation expanded its presence in the cybersecurity space with the introduction of the highly acclaimed brand 'SEQRITE' in 2015, while maintaining a dominant market share in the retail segment. In addition, under his proactive direction, the organisation adopted the mission to make 'Cybersafety a fundamental right for all' and continues to address the awareness gaps that have left billions of individuals, businesses, and governments vulnerable to cyber threats globally.
