Rahul Pinjarkar has succeeded R Nanda as the chief human resources officer of Tata Chemicals with effect from June 1.

Tata Chemicals has finally announced the successor of R Nanda, the chief human resources Officer who superannuated recently.

Rahul Pinjarkar has been selected as the new CHRO of Tata Chemicals with effect from June 1. Rahul comes from within the Tata Group as he was previously heading the HR function at Trent Hypermarkets Ltd. Rahul who will be based in Mumbai has nearly 24 years of work experience across Novartis, Philips, ICICI Prudential and Saint Gobain. 

Pinjarkar comes with over 23 years of experience in industries varied in their endeavours, temperaments, approach, and policies. His expertise lies in creating a competitive advantage through people and further transforming a company to become an employer of choice.

As announced earlier, Nanda will continue to be associated with the Tata Group in an Advisory capacity to facilitate the transition. He spent more than 17 years with the Tata Group.
