Reliance Retail, the retail initiative of Reliance Industries Limited, has announced the appointment of Lokesh Sikka as its new HR head.

Lokesh, who carries more than 19 years of experience spanning across services, retail, e-commerce and corporate assignments; has been tasked to head HR for the Product Business Group at the Reliance Retail.

Lokesh has confirmed his appointment through a Linkedin post. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head HR at Reliance Retail, PBG!.”

A self-driven individual, Lokesh is keen on shaping the future with his thoughts and words.

He has built and led successful teams and established robust practices in the areas of organisation design, capability building, talent development, change management, and organisation restructuring, along with aligning people, processes, and structure with strategy.

Before joining Reliance Retail, Lokesh worked with Onida where he led the HR function. In addition to HR, he also looked after administration and IR, Industrial Relations PAN India.

Snapdeal, HDFC securities, Flipkart, Sify Technologies Ltd., Vodafone Essar Ltd.,  Aditya Birla Group, and Hero ITES Ltd (Hero Group Company) were other companies where Lokesh worked in various capacities.

He holds a master’s in Business Administration from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
