Mars Snacking has appointed Sonali Roychowdhury as Chief People & Organisation Officer for its Asia, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) region, effective January 2026. Based in Singapore, Roychowdhury brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience in people and culture roles across major multinationals, including Procter & Gamble, Kellanova (formerly Kellogg Company), and Mars.
In a statement marking her appointment, Roychowdhury shared on LinkedIn, “This is a unique opportunity to bring together two iconic businesses, building on deep values and complementary cultures. I look forward to learning alongside our talented associates in the region and bringing to life the promise of AMEA.”
Roychowdhury’s career is marked by her expertise in organisational scale-up, end-to-end mergers and acquisitions, and large-scale integrations, demonstrating her ability to align culture and leadership, design operating models, and drive talent retention during periods of significant transition.
Her remit has spanned complex, diverse environments across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, giving her a unique international perspective and deep cultural fluency.
