Announcing a major senior management change in the United Breweries, the company appointed Steven Bosch as the CFO replacing its Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Henricus Petrus van Zon.

UBL in its BSE filing said that Henricus will move on to his next assignment with Heineken effective September 1, 2016. UBL further said, "The Board has appointed Steven Bosch as van Zon's replacement as Director and Chief Financial Officer effective September 1, 2016." van Zon was nominated by Heineken as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of UBL with effect from January 1, 2013. After three years of successful stint as the financial leader at the United Breweries, Henricus will move to Heineken.

Heineken had indirectly acquired a 37.5% stake in UBL following its worldwide takeover of Scottish & Newcastle (S&N) in January, 2008 thereby giving it board positions in the Indian bear maker. As on quarter ending March 2016, Heineken held just over 43% stake in UBL.
