Tessolve onboards Renil Kumar as CHRO

Renil Kumar brings over two decades of global HR leadership experience to drive people-first transformation at Tessolve.
Tessolve has appointed Renil Kumar as its first Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, he will spearhead the company’s HR tech transformation, global talent strategy, and foster a people-first culture aligned with the evolving demands of semiconductor design, test, and verification.
Kumar’s mandate includes workforce planning, enabling innovation at scale, and building high-performing, future-ready teams to support Tessolve’s global growth. He brings more than 20 years of experience across the semiconductor, manufacturing, and IT services sectors.
Before Tessolve, Kumar was with Photon, where he led the transformation of the HR function into an agile, business-aligned partner. He also held several senior roles at Wipro, including Vice President and HR Head for APAC and Europe. There, he also led the global Organizational Development (OD) charter, driving leadership development, succession planning, and enterprise-wide transformation.
Known for his expertise in democratising data for evidence-based decision-making, Kumar is set to play a key role in shaping Tessolve’s next phase of HR and business innovation.
