Union AMC appoints Rajkamal Tiwari as interim CEO

The financial services veteran succeeds Madhukumar Nair and will take charge on 11 August 2026.
Union Asset Management Company (Union AMC) has appointed Rajkamal Tiwari as its interim Chief Executive Officer, effective 11 August 2026. He succeeds Madhukumar Nair.
Tiwari currently serves as the company’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. His elevation is expected to provide leadership continuity as Union AMC moves into its next phase of growth.
During his tenure at the company, Tiwari has played a significant role across strategy, governance and operations. He brings more than 26 years of experience spanning financial services, capital markets, finance, operations and asset management.
Before joining Union AMC, Tiwari held roles at Principal PNB Asset Management Company, Price Waterhouse and Deloitte Haskins & Sells. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master in Business Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, along with degrees in law and commerce.
Commenting on the appointment, Tiwari said the company would continue strengthening its growth journey while maintaining its focus on investors.
