Uno Minda, a global supplier of proprietary automotive solutions, has appointed Rakesh Mehta as the new Chief Human Resource Officer, effective April 12.

With more than three decades of experience, Mehta has joined Uno Minda from JSW Energy where he worked as Sr. Vice President & Head - Human Resources. He is credited with spearheading Cultural Transformation through designing and driving HR best practices in the Energy business.

Equipped with an MSc from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, a Diploma in Labour Laws & Labour Welfare (Poona University, Pune), and a Masters in Personnel Management (Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune), Mehta previously worked with Adian Paints, General Motors, and Reliance Industries in various capacities.
