Zypp Electric appoints Sameer Baweja as senior vice president to lead its technology vertical
Tech-enabled EV-as-a-Service platform, Zypp Electric, has announced the appointment of Sameer Baweja as senior vice president to lead its Technology and Products vertical .
In his new role, Baweja will strategise Zypp’s upcoming operations and technological innovation to build last mile EV (electric vehicles) solutions in 30 cities across India.
A veteran in the industry, Baweja brings 22 years of technology experience in SaaS-based B2B and B2C domains and has played a pivotal role in elevating the product and the product strategy of companies listed under Fortune 500. He brings in extensive experience of working in product engineering.
Prior to Zypp, he was with Ameyo as head of product engineering and earlier has worked with mid-size companies and start-ups like Harman, Tavant in product innovation and leading new product lines.

On a high paced growth journey, Zypp plans to deploy 1.5 lakh e-scooters by 2025 and expand their fleet and partnership with e-commerce to strategically deploy in 30 cities across India.
