Awign, India-based Work-As-A-Service platform, has announced a strategic majority stake acquisition in an all-cash deal from Mynavi Corporation, one of the leading HR and lifestyle information media companies in Japan.

With this majority stake acquisition, Awign is all set to focus on long-term strategic growth and deeper value creation without getting affected by the fundraising market environment.

The partnership with Mynavi will help Awign build three key areas - Building a power team of best-suited talent, enhancing brand visibility both in India and internationally, and investing in technology to expand its digital infrastructure and build better platforms. This will further fuel Awign’s ambitions in onboarding and serving more global enterprise customers.

Launched in 2016 by IIT alumni Annanya Sarthak, Gurpreet S Khurana, and Praveen Kumar Sah, Awign is recognized as India’s premier work-as-a-service platform.
