Cipla’s Head of HR announces his exit from the company on LinkedIn. He will step down from the company with effect from March 2019.

Prabir Jha, President and Global Chief Officer of Cipla has announced his exit from the company. 

The LinkedIn post shared by him states, “Cipla has been a wonderful run. All good things must also end. I leave Cipla March 2019 end.” He further shared, “Now to think of the next adventure.”

 

Prabir joined Cipla three years back in October 2015 as the President and Chief People Officer. At Cipla, he was responsible for leading Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Administration, Legal & Corporate Affairs globally for the firm.

Prabir comes with an extensive experience of about 28 years and has worked with a multitude of industries and corporates including Tech Mahindra, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratory, Tata Motors Limited, and Reliance. Prabir has also worked with Government of India, Indian Ordnance Factories Services (IOFS).

He has been honored with various titles and awards including LinkedIn Power Profile 2018, SAP-Mint Digitalist Award 2018, YP Singhania HR Excellence, CHRO of The Year 2016, The Asia HRD Award 2012 for Oustanding Contribution to HR Community.

He completed his Bachelors and Masters in History from St. Stephen’s College and went ahead to do MBA in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur.
