Ex Nissan CIO Tony Thomas joins Signify

Thomas will be an acting member of the leadership team and will report to the management. He will lead the global IT and Digital Transformation teams.
Ex Nissan CIO Tony Thomas joins Signify

Tony (Anthony) Thomas has joined Signify as Chief Digital and Information Officer. He will be operating from the company headquarters in the Netherlands. Signify is one of the global leaders in the lighting and IoT space. The company offers energy-efficient lighting solutions and to make businesses more productive and cities more livable.

In this new role, Thomas will be an acting member of the leadership team and will report to the management. He will lead the global IT and Digital Transformation teams. Kurt de Ruwe, Head-IT, and Carlos Sierra Chinchilla, Program manager- Digital transformation will report directly to him, which also includes their respective teams.

Before joining Signify, Thomas was associated with Boston Consulting Group as Senior Advisor. He has over 25 years of experience of which about 12 years he led Digital Transformations at a Global level. In his last assignment, Thomas served a stint of over 2 years at Nissan in Japan where he led the global IT of the automotive company as a CIO.
