Flipkart’s strife to retain top talent continues as its Chief Financial Officer, Sanjay Baweja resigns within two years of joining the company. The reason for his exit is unclear and his replacement is still undecided. 

Prior working with Flipkart, Baweja had worked with companies such as Tata Communications Ltd, Emaar MGF and Bharti Airtel Ltd.

Earlier this year Flipkart saw lot of senior level exit including Punit Soni , Chief Product Officer, who left in April ;  Ankit Nagori , Chief Business Officer and Mukesh Bansal , commerce head, left in February.

In august this year, Flipkart underwent major organization change for the third time. It changed the structure of its top management. 

As per media reports, this news is crucial at the time when Flipkart is in advanced talks to raise $1 billion from Walmart, globally biggest retailer. Also, the resignation comes during the festive season, when they expect maximum sale from their customers.
