Globalization Partners appoints Simone Nardi new CFO

Globalization Partners has announced the appointment of Simone Nardi as Chief Financial Officer, taking over from Bob Cahill after Cahill was promoted to President last November.

Nardi has about 15 years' cumulative experience leading the finance function across companies of varying size and location, mostly in the television network industry. He joins Globalization Partners from US-based streaming television service fuboTV, where he was CFO. Prior to that, he was CFO of Scripps Networks Interactive and NBC Universal Networks International. He has also served on the board of several other media and entertainment ventures. He has worked on strategic planning, capital markets, investor relations, M&A, business development and change management in his various positions.

Besides leading the finance function at Globalization Partners, Nardi will work on the corporate strategy for Globalization Partners' planned market expansions.

"I am pleased to have Simone joining our team at such an exciting moment in time for us as a company,” said Cahill. “His experience in executing strategic and operational growth plans is combined with a global mindset that will help position us as we meet the accelerating market demand for our technology platform now and into the future, and I look forward to collaborating with him.”
