Google Cloud has roped in Subram Natarajan as the Director of Customer Engineering for its India operations. Natarajan had been serving another tech giant IBM for more than two decades prior to this.

As the India operations Director, Natarajan will report to Andrew Hobby, Director of Custom Engineering (APAC) based in Singapore. In an official statement on this occasion, the company said, “Natarajan will work closely with our leadership and work towards bringing Google Cloud’s solutions to its customers, helping them succeed in their digital transformation journey.”

To the table, Natarajan brings more than thirty years of experience of leading several technical teams across several companies out of which his remarkable associations have been with Informix Software and Speedware Corporation.

As an alumnus of McGill University, he pursued post-graduation with a specialisation in Industrial Engineering. He graduated in Production Engineering from Annamalai University.

Natarajan’s appointment comes in the wake of Google’s digital revolution in India. Pertaining to this, the company has opened up its second Cloud region this year– in Delhi-NCR and close to the government quarters — to further serve businesses of all sizes especially the public sector.
