Hero MotoCorp's CIO & CHRO Vijay Sethi quits
Vijay Sethi quits Hero MotoCorp; Automaker appoints interim IT HeadHero MotoCorp’s CIO Vijay Sethi has quit the company after a thirteen-year long stint. His last working day at the automaker was January 20, 2021. Along with the role of CIO, Sethi also played the role of Head CSR and Head Human Resources at Hero MotoCorp.
“I am writing to inform you that Vijay Sethi has left the organization, effective January 22, 2021 after 13 years of service,” Pawan Munjal in internal staff communication, said.
The automaker has also made Pradeep Eledath as in change of IT function during the interim period until a new CIO is appointed.
“While a CIO would be appointed in due course, Pradeep Eledath, on secondment for EY, will be in charge of the IT function in the interim”, added Munjal. Pradeep has more than 25 years of experience in information technology, digital transformation and cybersecurity.
Before joining Hero MotoCorp in 2007, Sethi has worked with Ranbaxy and TCS in various senior positions.
Mike Clarke who joined the corporate lately might be given the function of chief working officer/CHRO at Hero MotoCorp. Clark, an HR veteran, was the managing director of the London-based MJC Global Solutions.
