Richard Rekhy, CEO of KPMG India, disclosed his intention to retire from the company. 

As per media reports, Rekhy wrote a mail to KPMG employees, where he mentioned that, he has advised the KPMG Inida Board of his decision to retire as India CEO. 

For now Richard Rekhy will continue to be CEO of the KPMG India, till the time new CEO is ratified by the firm. 

The KPMG India Board has accepted Rekhy’s decision to retire. In a statement to media, they said that after due deliberations and keeping in mind Richard’s contribution to the company for last many years, they have accepted his decision to retire. 

He has served as CEO of KPMG in India since his appointment in 2012.
