Sanjay Jha, former chairman and CEO of Motorola mobility has joined the board of directors of Smartron India, a technology firm. Besides being an investor himself, Sanjay will be an independent director with Smartron.

With his immense experience and knowledge, Jha will help in accelerating company’s growth by building India’s first global OEM brand, which will bring competition to existing global brands. 

He was currently working with US-based GlobalFoundries as CEO and also has been associated as COO with chipmaker Qualcomm. 

Jha , on his appointment, said that  Smartron can avail the opportunity to expand and address areas such as enterprise, consumer, industrial and infrastructure with close integration of devices, sensors, and services. Also, should look forward to innovate and invest in disruptive IoT and AI technologies.

As per media, company’s official statement highlighted, due to his vast industry experience, he will be mentoring and advising Smartron’s operational excellence and global expansion.
