The Himalaya Drug Company names its new Chief People Officer

The Himalaya Drug Company has named Rahul Kapoor as its Chief People Officer. In his role, Kapoor will be spearheading the healthcare products company's people and culture agenda globally.

Kapoor brings with him deep expertise spanning 21 years in leading the HR functions in companies across sectors. Prior to joining The Himalaya Drug Company, he was VP and Head - HR, Emerging Markets at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and led the People and Culture agenda across 25 countries in Emerging Markets.

Before that, he almost spent more than 12 years was with GSK, which he joined in 2008 as Head - Talent Acquisition and rose to become the Executive Vice President - HR, India Subcontinent in 2018 for two years.

His other stints include working with GE Capital as AVP - Human Resources; ITC as Regional HR Manager, Foods Division HO; and Larsen & Toubro as Management Trainee - HR. It is this vast experience that he brings into this new role.
