Commenting on the forthcoming summit, Sairee Chahal, Founder and CEO, SHEROES said, “This year’s Summit is special, as we respond to the global conversation around Future of Work. We inherently believe that women at work and future of work can be closely aligned. Gig economy, micro entrepreneurship and remote work along with core technology are pillars of future of work and women are a core part of that story. We also see the opportunity to engage in challenges brought by machine learning and neural technologies. SHEROES is every woman’s more from life network and being part of core global trends is our way of serving every member on the SHEROES network. Likewise, through this year’s summit, we track the future of work, share stories of inspiration and grow the tribe of women custom fitting their success. We are anticipating that this will help us in influencing more and more women to join either the workforce, micro-entrepreneurship, remote work or leadership roles.”

Deepika Tewari – General Manager – Marketing, Jewellery Division, Titan Company Limited said, “The workforce of the future will consist mostly of millennial, who are inherently inclined towards entrepreneurship. Which is just as well because there are numerous examples to suggest that women entrepreneurs tend to be more ambitious and more successful than their male counterparts. Women also rank higher than men in leadership effectiveness, and are better at using soft skills for delivering superior business performance. On the corporate front, businesses want to recruit and retain more women employees today than in the past. I personally recommend that more female students should pursue STEM or business courses. But I believe that the single most important skill that you, as a professional, need to learn is to reinvent yourself – to let go of who you are today, and recreate yourself as the job environment around you changes.”
The newest edition of Mia SHEROES Summit 2017 will introduce TED Style talks by stellar women professionals from multiple fields, highlighting the future of work opportunities and ways of owning successes in various industries. The Summit will conclude with a cultural program showcasing the strengths of women and the change they bring to the economy as a whole.
