As part of the Group’s £3 billion strategic investment over the next three years to transform its digital offering, UK-based financial services group Lloyds Banking Group has inaugurated its technology centre in India. The newly opened centre is located in Hyderabad.

Lloyds Technology Centre will not provide any banking services but will focus on using technology, digital, data and analytics capabilities to drive innovation and end-to-end product delivery and is a step forward in the Group’s approach to international resourcing. 

Lloyds will recruit 600 highly skilled technology, data, and cyber specialists for a range of specialist roles including Full Stack, Java Back-End, REACT, Cloud Engineers, and Quality Engineers.

This center located in Hyderabad, will become a hub for innovation and engineering excellence,” said Ron van Kemenade, Group Chief Operating Officer at Lloyds Banking Group
