Jobsgaar Technologies has raised $140,000 amount in fundraising from Hyderabad headquartered SucSEED Indovation Fund and other marquee Angels as part of its seed round.

Atul Pratap Singh, Founder and CEO, Jobsgaar said, “We either see masses trooping in large cities in search of work opportunities or likely staying back at their place of origin doing odd jobs forever, driven by necessities. On the other hand, there is a section of employers, small-scale businesses, enterprises, MSMEs & millions of other unorganized pursuits who are struggling every day to find a local workforce for their job responsibilities.

The group of angel investors include marquee names including Rohit Chanana, Jasminder Singh Gulati, Poonam Kaul, Sunil Kamath, Mandeep Singh and Gunjan Paharia.

Dhiraj Kumar Sinha, Co-Founder and Partner, SucSEED Indovation Fund said, “Talent Recruitment is a big challenge in Tier 2 – 4 cities and towns. We believe easy to adopt Jobsgaar’s technology can lead to re-kindling localized economies and increase employment by enabling micro-entrepreneurs to effortlessly scout talent. This would further ensure that Tier-1 cities are not overcrowded, and job opportunities are made available closer to home”.

New Delhi based Jobsgaar was started in May 2020 by Atul Pratap Singh, with a vision to create an impact on migration trends within the country & help employers seamlessly connect with the workforce at their native place.

Jobsgaar has been focussing on around 15 districts from UP & Bihar to explore the potential. Employers today in geographies beyond major cities either publish classified adverts or hire a HR consultancy for hiring, which proves costly in both the cases. Jobsgaar on the other hand automates this entire process & employers will only have to speak to the shortlisted candidates & finalize.

With the company addressing the migration of workforces in India from villages to the large city centers for semi - formal or formal jobs, driven by necessity or opportunity, it will be interesting to see how Jobsgaar expand their operations and vision post the seed funding round.
