Testbook, an ed-tech company designed to help students in preparing government jobs recruitment exams, has raised Rs. 60 Cr. in Series B funding led by Iron Pillar.

Testbook, an ed-tech company designed to assist students as they prepare for Government Job Recruitment Exams, announced that it has raised Rs. 60 Cr. in Series B funding round. Iron Pillar led this round of funding while existing investor Matrix Partners India, Better Capital, AngelList India, and Vikas Choudhury who is the President of Reliance Jio. 

An online learning, practice, and assessment platform that enables students to prepare for recruitment exams for government jobs such as SBI PO, SSC CGL, IBPS PO, Railways, and more. Preparing for government jobs at the entry-level is a $7 Bn market with more than 90 million job applicants looking for such jobs each year. 

“With this growth capital, Testbook will aim to scale its Live Courses and Mock Tests from the current 100 exams to 400 exams,” said Ashutosh Kumar, Co-founder & CEO, Testbook. “Testbook will also invest in Data Science and Machine Learning to make the entire learning cycle adaptive for students so that the curriculum and their study plans are personalized for them.” 

Started in January 2014, Testbook aims to create a multiplatform learning experience and along with Iron Pillar and Matrix Partners India’s investment in the company, they plan to continue their journey of bridging the gap between the demand for skills and the available talent that is ready to take on the stipulated roles.
