Enterprise HR tech firm PeopleStrong has announced a partnership with Muthoot FinCorp, the flagship company of the Muthoot Pappachan Group.
One of India's largest non-banking financial companies which employs over 18,000 people, Muthoot FinCorp has been undergoing a planned digital transformation, of which the overhaul of its people management system is part. A key objective of the partnership with PeopleStrong is to reduce dependence on HR teams while enabling people and business outcomes. According to the announcement, the implementation of PeopleStrong's HR Tech 4.0 platform across the company is the first such intervention in a string of planned interventions in Muthoot FinCorp's digital transformation strategy.
S Suresh Kumar, CHRO, Muthoot FinCorp, said of the partnership: “Muthootians live by the principles of ‘ICE’, we always strive for Integrity, Collaboration, & Excellence in everything we do. Even though we evaluated many partners – PeopleStrong is a partner that lives by the same code. We hope to leverage their extensive experience in the BFSI space and transform our internal operations to match the rapid pace at which our employee needs and business is evolving. We are a people-centric organisation and value the human connect that binds us together and PeopleStrong’s track record showed us that they have what it takes to transform the experience of employees.”
Venugopal, Head of People Operations at Muthoot FinCorp, added that the partnership is intended to improve employee experience. “Our branches act as a financial super-market helping our customers fulfill most of their requirements under one roof, and we believe that the HR technology 4.0 will serve a similar purpose for our employees - bringing powerful functionality to the hands of our employees through one Super App," he noted. "We look forward to raising the bar and delivering a truly superlative employee experience with PeopleStrong."
